Photo XIV Call for Entries

Auburn, Ala. - The Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center is calling all artists and photographers living in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Mississippi to showcase their photography skills at PHOTO XIV, a competitive exhibition that emphasizes photography as an art medium. The exhibition will be on display Oct. 8 - Nov. 17 at the Arts Center. Entries are due by Saturday, Sept. 29.

Auburn, Ala. - Enjoy an evening of live musical entertainment at Kiesel Park as Auburn Parks and Recreation continues the Fall Concert Series on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. Bring the family, a picnic supper, and your lawn chairs and enjoy a free, relaxing evening with your family, friends, and neighbors. Concerts will be held every Thursday in September and October, weather permitting.

Young Artist Atelier Exhibition and Reception

Auburn, Ala. - Art lovers of all ages are invited to visit the Young Artist Atelier (YAA) exhibition, on display September 15 - October 8 at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art. The exhibition showcases art created by students during YAA summer camps at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art will host a a reception honoring the artists on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided for this casual event.
