On Tuesday, May 21, 2013 the Auburn Police Division arrested Jamea A. Mason, 33, of Union Springs, Alabama, on warrants charging her with two counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. Mason’s arrest stems from the investigation of a police report dated January 2012 in which a Union Springs resident stated that someone stole personal checks from her and then passed them at an Auburn business. Mason was transported from the Houston County jail where she was being held on an unrelated charge to the Lee County Detention Center where she is currently being held on a $6,000 bond.
