Two men arrested in Auburn for robbing a pizza delivery man

On Sunday, November 25, 2012 the Auburn Police Division arrested Jamarius A. Blunt, age 20, of Opelika, Alabama, and Tommy L. Davis, II, age 18, of Auburn on warrants charging each with Robbery 1st Degree.  Their arrest stems from the investigation of an attempted robbery of a pizza delivery man that occurred earlier this same date at an apartment complex located in the 1200 block of South College Street.  The 38-year-old victim was not injured in the incident that occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m.  The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.  Approximately 30 minutes later two men matching the descriptions of the suspects were contacted by officers at an apartment complex located on West Longleaf Drive.  The pair, identified as Blunt and Davis, was taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Detention Center where their bond was set at $25,000 each.  Police believe Blunt and Davis may be involved in several similar incidents that have occurred in Auburn over the past few weeks.  The investigation of those cases is on-going.
