AUBURN, AL (WSFA)- The Auburn Police Department says it has arrested two suspects in connection with a fatal weekend shooting at an area bar.
The suspects, Shamon Williams, 21, of Opelika, and Shatarious Cobb, 21, of Auburn were arrested Wednesday on felony warrants charging them with murder.
Cobb and Williams are accused of shooting to death Marquez Patrick, 20, and wounding two others following an altercation at Jackie Lee's Bar on South College Street.
The incident happened in the bar's parking lot around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found two male victims, a 22-year old from Auburn and a 19-year old from Loachapoka, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to the East Alabama Medical Center where they were treated for their injuries and released. Neither victims' name has been released.
