Photo Gallery | Marijuana found during traffic stop
On Friday, January 27, 2012 the Auburn Police Division arrested Jeremy B. Davis, age 25, of Opelika, Alabama, and Jermichael L. Hart, age 25, of Auburn on warrants charging both with Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree. Hart was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Earlier this same date a traffic stop was conducted on a Chevrolet pickup truck in the 1700 block of Shug Jordan Parkway at which time the odor of marijuana was detected. A search of the vehicle yielded a half-pound of marijuana, a digital scale, and $2,300 in cash. Some of the marijuana was individually packaged for sale. Davis, the driver, and Hart, a passenger, were taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Detention Center. The bond was set at $3,000 on Davis and $4,000 on Hart.
