Photo Gallery | Drug and attempted murder charges filed against four Auburn men
On Thursday, April 12th at approximately 5:25 a.m., the the Auburn Police Division’s narcotics unit, with the assistance of the county-wide tactical team, executed a drug search warrant at an apartment complex located in the 200 block of West Longleaf Drive. When the tactical team entered the residence a suspect with an assault rifle opened fire. One of the team members returned fire at which time the suspect surrendered to officers. No injuries were reported in the incident. The shooter and three other men were taken into custody.
The Auburn Police Division arrested four people in connection to the case. They are Ivan L. Slavich, IV, age 21; Joshua C. Pulley, age 20, Malcolm T. Robinson, age 22; and Keith R. Brown, Jr., age 21, all of whom list an Auburn address.
Slavich is charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Pulley is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Robinson is charged with Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Brown is charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Two assault style rifles, approximately one pound of marijuana, and $4,200 in cash were seized. Slavich is also charged with four counts of Attempted Murder. The four men were transported to the Lee County Detention Center.
