Photo Gallery | Four linked to burglary in Lee County
The Lee County Sheriff's Office has arrested Timothy Joseph Phillips (19), of Phenix City, and Colton Cade Moseson (19), of Smiths, both on one count of Burglary in the Third Degree and one count of Theft of Property in the Second Degree. Also arrested were Angelica Brooke Parris (19), of Phenix City, and Brittany Paige Hardin (20), of Salem. They both were charged with one count of Receiving Stolen Property in the Second Degree. All of these charges stem from the following events:
On January 2, 2013, at approximately 3:29 PM/CST, a Lee County resident on Lee Road 213 Smiths, Alabama reported that someone had broken into their home and had stolen approximately ($2,500.00) two thousand five hundred dollars worth of property. The items stolen included several flat screen televisions, electronic gaming devices, a jewelry box containing various types of jewelry, cellular phones and an undisclosed amount of cash. On January 3, 2013 at approximately 12:15 AM/CST, a Lee County Deputy Sheriff conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Lee Road 240 Smiths, Alabama that matched the description of a suspect vehicle that had been seen at the victim's home on Lee Road 213 around the time of the burglary and theft. The vehicle was occupied by Phillips, Moseson, Parris and Hardin. Evidence located inside of the vehicle linked these suspects to the burglary and theft of the residence on Lee Road 213. Phillips and Moseson are both being held in the Lee County Detention Facility on a ($6,000.00) Six Thousand Dollar bond. Parris is being held on a ($3,000.00) Three Thousand Dollar bond and Hardin has been released after posting a ($3,000.00) Three Thousand Dollar bond.
